What is Marketing?

 Marketing is the process of exploring, creating, and delivering value to meet the needs of a target market in terms of goods and services. The overall goal of marketing is to satisfy customer needs and wants better than competitors do. Marketing is an established discipline in the business world and major field of study in business, government and public policy schools. Marketing deals with finding out what customers want and needs, evaluating how ready they are to buy, determining what product characteristics will satisfy them and deciding how to price the goods or services offered.
